MOTHERHOOD-AN ETERNAL WORK OF GLORY

Motherhood can be such a thankless job and yet it carries such a powerful position of influence. Motherhood is an eternal work of Glory!

I can remember so well with my three boys when school was out and summer had started. I was in a daze for at least two months, wondering what is happening to me? Just about the time I got adjusted to the added daily activity around the house, it was time for school to start again, now it’s up at 6:00 every morning, fixing three lunches and getting everyone off on time.

My Mother-in-law used to say, “enjoy them while they are little, they grow up faster than you can imagine”. I thought, “Yeah, that’s easy for you to say”. Now I know she was right.

My boys are grown now and on their own and I am able to see how important those days were to their lives. As an older woman teaching the younger women may I just tell you, if you are responsible for raising children, there is nothing that is more important than that. You are affecting a soul for eternity. Don’t take it lightly.
